WHERE YOU MIGHT HIDE

EMILIA MÅRTENSSON & MATT ROBINSON

NEW ALBUM, 2027

...Immensely subtle arrangements, exquisitely beautiful songs, and, at its centre, a voice of quite remarkable expressive depth.” —JAZZWISE ++++

“ …pianist Matt Robinson, showcased a remarkable talent for composition.” — UK Jazz News

Where You Might Hide is a voice–piano duo album by Emilia Mårtensson and Matt Robinson, shaped by a close musical partnership and a shared interest in space, clarity, and songcraft. Inspired by European jazz partnerships such as Sidsel Endresen & Bugge Wesseltoft and Norma Winstone & John Taylor, the duo gently expands the voice–piano format through improvisation, extended techniques, and subtle electronics, without losing the intimacy and clarity of the duo format. Based between London and Berlin, the project reflects a contemporary European sensibility grounded in presence listening and musical interaction.
